Justice is a dream, Freedom is a dream



PRESIDENT OBAMA:  Thank you.  (Applause.)  Myanmar Naingan, Mingalaba!  (Laughter and applause.)  I am very honored to be here at this university and to be the first President of the United States of America to visit your country. 
I came here because of the importance of your country.  You live at the crossroads of East and South Asia.  You border the most populated nations on the planet.  You have a history that reaches back thousands of years, and the ability to help determine the destiny of the fastest growing region of the world.

US President speech at University of Yangon, Myanmar

President of United States of America, Mr. Barack Obama, visited Myanmar for the second time. He visited Yangon and Nay-Pyi-Taw. His speech to the young Burmese students at the University of Yangon is most valuable and unforgettable event for many youths. The Burmese saying which encourage the youths is also awesome words from him.He also mentioned four important freedom in a democratic country; freedom of speech, freedom of worship,freedom from want and freedom from fear.

The speakers of Freedom of expression


Ma Thida is a Burmese surgeon writer, human rights activist and former prisoner of conscience.She has published under the pseudonym “Suragamika” which means "brave
traveler". In Myanmar, Thida is best known as a leading intellectual, whose books deal with the country's political situation. She has worked as an editor at a Burmese monthly youth
