REquesting witness for Koh Tao murder case

Zaw Lin and Wai Phyo, the two migrant workers, are accused of raping and murdering Hannah Witheridge, 23, and murdering David Miller, 24, on the holiday island on Sept 15, 2014. They face the death penalty if convicted. They have said they are innocent of rape and murder charges, and that police tortured them to force confessions from them, which they later recanted.
Diplomats from Britain and Myanmar raised concerns about the Thai investigation, and London sent a police team to Koh Tao as observers in October, 2014.
Thailand has agreed in principle to allow a team of observers from Britain and Myanmar to observe judicial procedures in the Koh Tao murder case, which has sparked a barrage of media criticism in both countries.
The court rejected a defence request to allow witnesses who believe they are at risk to give their testimony in Bangkok, saying the Samui courthouse was safe.
At present, the fundraiser is set up by the Migrant Worker Rights Network (MWRN), a migrant run organization with more than 3,000 fee-paying Myanmar migrant members, to assist to cover costs of lawyers and a support team to ensure a fair trial for the accused in the Koh Tao case. Essential costs for the accused in prison shall also be supported. And the witnesses are requested if anyone can help for the Koh Tao murder case.
